Survey-online.com wins Computerworld Excellence Award
Around 500 people, including Prime Minister Helen Clark and Communications
Minister David Cunliffe, attended a lively ‘black tie’ event at the Hyatt Hotel
in Auckland on Friday 21 July when the winners of the 2006 Computerworld Excellence Awards were
announced. Of the 13 Awards up for grabs, the Prime Minister had chosen
the "Excellence in the Use of IT in a Small to Medium Enterprise" category to
present. And to their great delight, the PM opened the envelope to
announce John Robertson & Associates the WINNER!
JRA's submission for the Award was its proprietary owned online survey
software www.survey-online.com.
“Over the past three years Survey-online.com has transformed JRA from being a
generalist HR consulting company to an organisation offering a world-class niche
service to hundreds of organisations in New Zealand and, increasingly,
overseas. Offered as an ASP or JRA-supported service, Survey-online.com
enables organisations to quickly and cost-effectively survey stakeholder
perceptions (employees, customers, others) and analyse these in real-time using
a suite of powerful online reports.”
Best known to many JRA clients for
its Unlimited/JRA Best Places
to Work in New Zealand Survey (the largest employee engagement survey in
Australasia), Survey-online.com has enabled JRA to offer an increasing range of
survey types, including 360
Reflect (an online 360 degree feedback tool), and Focust (a customer feedback survey
tool), while nearly half of all local government organisations in New Zealand
conduct their workplace surveys using JRA’s Local Government
Workplace Survey.
In selecting JRA as its 2006 Winner, the
judges singled out the high quality of the product itself, the innovative nature
of the ongoing development programme, and the passion and enthusiasm of the
whole JRA team.
Director John Robertson says JRA’s success has been the
result of years of hard work from both the JRA team and the company’s web
development partners of many years, Augen
NZ. "We have always believed our survey software was world-class, and
certainly that’s been the feedback our customers have given us. But it’s
an enormous thrill for the whole team to have this endorsed publicly by an
expert panel of judges in this way. This will be a tremendous boost to our
plans to take our services off-shore.”
